Similarities between post office mail and email-          Both mail and email have a mailbox to receive mail.- Post mail has a box built outside of each home that receives mail. Email has an inbox that receives all incoming mail.          Mail and email both a centralized location where the mail is collected and then re-distributed to the receiver.          Both are used by advertisers to solicit people.- Advertisers send mass emails to people to get people to know about sales. Mail sends mass print letters to individual people.          Mail and email have some sort of way to sort out the mail- for example- no illegal substances can be sent via mail. Erik Hanberg came to our World wide web class on October 11th. Professor Fry had brought him in to share his life story and how Hanberg had made a living off the ever so changing technology world. Not just on how to make money but Hanberg was a very helpful resource to new nonprofits, he wrote three separate books- The Little Book of Gold ,  The Little Book of Likes , and   The Little Book of Boards - which were like a resource guide that provided helpful information to help the nonprofits. Having a background in their entertainment industry Hanberg was a very successful director for The Grand Cinema. His expertise and knowledge lead to The Grand Cinema generating huge amount of revenue for the Cinema. With all that knowledge Hanberg decided to pursue his wish and open his very own cinema, went on and opened a theater . Sadly, enough eventually hanberg had to close his theatre. Though I was born where technology advancements were at an all-time high I don’t know all the ins and outs of technology. I still till this day am I learning new things every day from family friends, surprisingly enough I learn new things from my eight-year-old brother. But, if we put it in to perspective my little brother was born in to technology whereas me 21 years ago was slowly exposed to technology. Back when I was in grade school we would have a physical copy of everything textbooks, notebooks, we wouldn’t use anything digital, comparing that to my brother they probably use 85% digital tools and 15% physical. I really would like to know some of the ways all this new technology is bad for us and the upcoming generations. To the naked eye we see how convenient technology makes our lives but with all that there must be a downside and that’s what I’d like to know.
